Verification cost
The cost of establishing that AI output is right, safe and compliant to the level the risk demands: reviewer time, triage, rework, escalation and the tooling for automated checks.
Why it matters
It is a real and growing line of AI total cost of ownership that is often buried in people or governance costs, and it rises as generation gets cheaper.
